The Indictment of the World

Man is a triune being. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let themi1 have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creep upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:26-27 KJV Many people do not realize that man is a trinity. He is  made up of a spirit, body and soul. The spirit and soul are not identical. The spirit of man is his intelligence. It knows and it reasons. The spirit of man is the mind through which all our understanding of God is derived. The God centered person is controlled by the spirit which in turn controls the soul, and the soul controls the body. The soul is the seat of our emotions, our desires, and our affections. The soul is the part of man who is happy or sad, is angered or expresses love, and is envious or is giving. The combination of the spirit and the soul create what God calls the heart.    And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.  Genesis 2:7  KJV  The body is the home of the spirit and the soul and as the body grows old and dies the spirit and soul return back to God. We are spiritual immortal beings.

Too many people today have reversed the God-given direction and have let the body control the soul and  spirit.  They are controlled by their emotions and physical desires.  For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:5-6 We have not evolved like so many people teach today that evolution is the consummation of all things. On the contrary, degradation is the rule of the day. Man continues to degrade as they separate themselves from God. In fact, man without God is evolution in reverse, and if this world continues on its current path man will become hopelessly and totally depraved.

i2  I know the last thing you want to hear about is the wrath of God.  Too often today preachers sugarcoat the word of God. Mentioning only half of the story.  They talk about how God is good and how He is a merciful God, but they do not speak of God’s wrath against all ungodliness and unrighteousness. An ungodly man refuses to conform his will to God’s will. So we do things that are contrary to what our Heavenly Father has deemed right. Since we refuse to submit our will we are unable to deal with each other in righteousness. We live by the motto of today which is lie, cheat and steal. Our nature is deceitful in all things and desperately wicked.  Our soul and / or spirit refuses to accept the truth, so we live a lie. All you have to do is look at the kids today. We have taken God from them in their schools and homes. We have taken discipline from them. We have stopped trying to correct and instruct them. Look around you today and see how they are infected with corruption.

God created the law so that we might realize how far we are separated from Him. The 613 commandments in the Old Testament proves to us we are totally depraved in the eyes of God. The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness,  since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.  For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Romans 1:18-20 NIV When we refuse to conform to the will of God it leads to our failure to adhere to moral principles. “Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”  Romans 3:20 NASB  We automatically  do things that are not right. We cannot deal with each other in the right way. Instilled each one of us is the moral code God created for us to follow, however, due to corruption that is inside of us we are unable to choose rightly. The Bible says, “ For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…” Romans 3:23 NASB  There is not a person on this earth who can live the perfect will of God. The natural heart is deceitful and desperately wicked. When we follow our own will and refuse to hear the call of God we are given over to a reprobate mind. There is no person more in danger of going to hell than someone who has heard the word of God and turned their back to it.

For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they i3became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  Professing to be wise, they became fools… Romans 1:21-22 NASB  Because of this God gives people up to uncleanliness as to having to do with their bodies. When we refuse to let God occupy our minds we are given over to every vile and despicable lust there is. Instead of practicing natural affection  we are given over to unnatural acts. Here you have the world in a nutshell. We use drugs, alcohol, food, and especially sex to block out the calling of our Creator. Their mind becomes dull with these effects “like it is seared with a hot iron.” This empowers Satan to have his way with us.   And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips,  slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful;  and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them. Romans 1:28-32 NASB

Everyone wants to talk about the God of love and peace. They become blinded to the fact that we will answer for our behavior. We were all placed here to make a decision as to whether or not we are for God or are we against Him.   If you refuse to let God occupy your mind. If you refuse to give God His do. If you know the truth and refuse to believe and to live according to what the Bible says you are just as sure to go to hell as the nest person. Let God be found true, though every man be found a liar…” Romans 3:4 NASB   You can not pick out part of the Bible and say you accept it and disregard the rest. Do not let anyone tell you that this part or that part of the Bible is true because any man who adds or subtracts from the Bible will pay with their life. You are either all in or you are all out. There is no middle ground.

All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him. Isaiah 53:6 NASB  Many of us have come to the wrong conclusion that we are somehow seeking God. When the opposite is true. God is seeking us. Our approach is eschewed in that our knowledge of God is based on our own understanding. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7 NASB Man does not understand that the wrath of God is upon us when we do not fear God, and God alone, because no one can send our soul to death except Him. Without believing these things first the Word of God is foolishness to us. Without faith our eyes will be blind and our ears will be deaf to the truth. We will search and not find and we will seek but never discover the wonderful relationship that Jesus Christ provided us with His death. We are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. We are to present our bodies a living sacrifice. We are to yield our members as instruments of righteousness unto God.. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou might be justified when You speak, and be clear when You judge. Behold, I was shaped in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Psalms 51:3-5 KJV

I believe that everyone will agree with me when I say, “ We need a Savior.” We have all come short of the glory of God. None of us at anytime has led a perfect life. For those of us who boast in the law dishonor God when we break the law and when we break the law we influence others to do the same. When we base our relationship with God on the law we are only fooling ourselves because no man is capable of adhering to the law of God.   We all have a conscience in our bosom that convicts us of the need to live right; but to permit God to make a change in us we need a new heart. Our own ability will never be sufficient to remodel our lives to God’s conformity.  All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV

I would pray for all who hear that until these things are worked out in our souls that we live by these principles.

Forgive lest you not be forgiven, because until you have forgiven those who have sinned against you God will not forgive you.

Judge not lest you be judged. How you judge others here on earth is how God will judge you.

Love-Never-FailsLove always, because love never fails.  “For he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.  For this, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”  Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” Romans 13:9-10 NASB   This means the true and pure love that God provides us through His word. There is no person capable of true love until he knows God. And of course we all know the greatest commandment of all is to, “ Love the Lord your God with all your soul, strength, and mind. Jesus said, “ On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Therefore when we love God as we should, and when we love one another as we should, we have fulfilled the law of God.
