The Last Church

The last church will be the largest religious organization on earth. In its humble beginning it will declare itself as a city on a hill where the eyes of all people will be upon it.  The church will declare itself as the greatest cause of all mankind. Their manifest destiny will be to overspread the earth by providence for the free development of multiplying billions. The leadership of the world will be placed upon its head as the last hope of man on earth. This church will use human equality as a means to control the masses and will preach around the world for the removal of inequalities among all people. Its supreme power will hang its origins on the investment for all people through elected agents that will use political direction to control the actions of its members. It will develop a unique ideology, based on liberty, individualism and personal freedoms to spread its belief system around the globe.

Its main appeal will be the market or monetary system that will control all the trade and financial wealth throughout the world. It will be a faith based religion that will put all of its energy into the precept that financial gain brings happiness and the followers will worship an economy of wealth where the more you earn the happier you will be. The world will put its faith in a mark on paper, and will believe there is a God, but refuse to worship Him as Almighty God. All the people on earth shall desire its economy. Those who belong to this church will have great wealth  and will consume the resources of this earth with great abandonment. Because of these resources this church will believe in a god of fortresses to control the world’s riches. The rest of the world will stand back and ask, “ Who can defeat it?”

The church members will be free to do as they will. Their only homage will be to give part of their wealth back to the church so it will continue to grow, prosper and control the ideologies of mankind. Its members will be considered as exceptional and will place themselves above the law of the nations. They will use this forbearance to create commodities that are detrimental to mankind. They will sell products throughout the world with foreknowledge of their poisonous attributes, and will do so anyway for financial gain. Its members will create an open society where selfish ambitions, drunkenness, drug use, hatred, murder, adultery, and all kinds of sexual perversion will be permitted. Its resounding theme will be justice for all, but the wealthy will be free from prosecution and the poor will be under the iron fist of the law.

They will declare this as the age of lawlessness and institutions will loan money to anyone who applies regardless of their ability to pay.  When their frenzied spending overloads inflationary pressures and the equity of their investments slow, people will abandon their responsibilities in groves, causing the economy to collapse to near certain death, only to be recovered miraculously by their new leader.

His symbols will be the thunderbolt, eagle, bull, oak and the five-pointed star. He will not regard the god of his fathers, but will acknowledge a foreign god. He will advance this god’s glory and through his false justice will rule over many. He will acknowledge the father god of the sky whose original temple of worship was located in the Asian city of Laodicea. All the religions on earth will worship him being duly elected, and will come on the world scene with great fanfare. He will form a worldwide national coalition and broker a peace agreement ending all the conflicts on earth.  With the removal of the saints from earth and the pulling away of the Holy Spirit there will be the greatest economic explosion in history. They will divide the land and their property for gain. This leader  will be so popular that he will declare himself as god, and anyone who refuses to worship him will not be able to buy or sell. Great miracles will be preformed by this creature and all the world will stand in awe of his power. Through his own pride he will fall for a trap of betrayal and his closest allies will turn their backs on him in his time of agony.  Before his reign is put to an end one half of the world’s population will be destroyed.

““Write this letter to the angel of the church in Laodicea. This is the message from the one who is the Amen—the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s new creation:
“I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other!  But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. So I advise you to buy gold from me—gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see. I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference. “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne. “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.” Revelation 3:14-22 NLT

The Return of the King

Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war.  His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself.  He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God.  The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses. From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a wine press.

On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords.  Revelation 19:11-16 NLT
