Casting out Demons

Every negative thought or emotion we have opens us up to a
corresponding demon to take that thought and capitalize on its
negativity. Never offer yourself up for the consequences of another
person because that is exactly what will happen even if it wasn’t
going to happen in the first place. Demons work in groups and are
always looking for the opportunity to take advantage of the mind of a
human being. Many who suffer from depression leave themselves
vulnerable. Feeling unwanted and unloved opens the door for
demonic activity.

Every one of us has an inner desire to be loved, and when this is
absent from our life, we suffer a wound that opens us up to
manipulation. It makes us choose relationships that are unhealthy,
causing us to become more and more withdrawn. We become broken
in a sense that we either give up on relationships or fight back. Our
personality becomes depressed and our motivations are demon
manipulated to the point that a healthy relationship is impossible.
This leads to suicide, rape, murder, and violence of every kind.
Every one of these conditional results begin as an inner attitude of
hatred toward another human being. Some of us follow through and
carry out this violence. Many of us only think it. Biblically speaking,
it is the same. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know
that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.1 But I say to you that
whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already
committed adultery with her in his heart.2

What we say and do affects not only the ones around us but
affects the opportunities provided to the demonic world. If we have
said or done something wrong that opens a door for demon activity,
we need to cancel it by saying or doing the right thing. The Apostle
Peter denied Christ three times but after the resurrection Jesus led
Peter to unsay his denial by affirming to the Lord three times that he
loved Him. Everything we say can be used against us, so the power of
our tongue can either lead us to the glory of God or take us down a
path of unrighteousness.

A lying spirit is common today among many. I know people that
lie so much they have started to believe the lies themselves. The
authority given to us to bind or loose a demon is important knowledge
for today. In the process of deliverance, it is usually the strongest
demon who will be the first to reveal itself. “Assuredly, I say to
you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and
whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.3 This authority
given to us is a process of scriptural principles that needs to be
followed.

Daily Bible study and prayer is a must. Without the filling of the
Holy Spirit on a daily basis, gaps in our protection will be revealed to
the evil spirits. Forgiveness of others is a key because this enables
God to forgive us. We renounce the spirits that are trying to control
us, and in a soft, calm voice: “And these signs will follow those who
believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with
new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything
deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick,
and they will recover.”4 In the name of Jesus Christ be gone.

An evil spirit is powerless to hinder you with the name of Christ
on your lips. Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and
blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He
might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and
release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject
to bondage.5 Continue to read scripture: For though we walk in the
flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our
warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down
strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts
itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into
captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all
disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.6 For your obedience
has become known to all. Therefore, I am glad on your behalf; but I
want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil.
And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The
grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.7

People have different experiences depending on the type of
demons they are dealing with, their personality and their gender.
Women seem to be more vocal, but I have seen a grown man fall
down onto the ground in an epileptic rage. Spirits are described as the
wind or breath, so it is not uncommon for some to cough. Inhaling
through your nose and exhaling strongly through your mouth will
sometimes allow a passage for the demon to escape. Then the
spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he
became as one dead, so that many said, “He is dead.” But Jesus took
him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.8 For unclean spirits,
crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and
many who were paralyzed, and lame were healed.9 Then there are
some who have no physical expression at all.

Feel free to conduct this process as many times as you like. It will
continue to help keep us free from the migration of evil spirits that
search for those who they can control. Prayer and Bible scripture read
aloud in the name of Jesus Christ can heal those who have infirmities
but please understand it is God who is doing the healing and many
who are sick and dying have reached their designated time to return to
the Father. When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were
sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His
hands on every one of them and healed them. And demons also came
out of many, crying out and saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of
God!” And He, rebuking them, did not allow them to speak, for they
knew that He was the Christ.10

It is also a completely different experience when we try to remove
demons from others. You cannot help anyone who is not willing to
help themselves. Without Bible study, prayer, faith, and the rest of the
pre-qualifications all you will end up doing is getting yourself or the
person you are trying to help in trouble. Some disciples took a pretty
hard beating by a demon-possessed young man because they forgot
what got them there.

We need to personally affirm that Jesus Christ is our Savior and
Lord. We must set aside our desires and humble ourselves to God.
Confess and repent any and all sins we may have and forgive those
who have sinned against us. We need to take a stand for Christ in our
personal, professional, and public life. We create a lifestyle that
reflects the values that are found in the word of God. Yes, all
of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for
God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Therefore,
humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt
you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for
you.11

Find a nice, quiet place where you can be alone for a while. Start
back when you were a child and go over with God the mistakes you
have made, making everything you have ever done available to Him
for forgiveness. He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever
confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.12 You may need to
pack a lunch because you are going to be there for a while. I had to
divide my confessions up because there was so much to talk about.
The more I did it the more the load of sin was lifted off my shoulders.
Next, we go through every person in our life and pray for them.
Start with the kids you knew when you were young, and work your
way to the present time. Years later I actually had someone tell me
their life changed right around the time I prayed for them. Prayer is
all- encompassing. You don’t have to be in the same city, state, or
even country to affect the life of another human being. It is so
powerful it penetrates a person’s mind.

It is important that we accept responsibility for our actions. We
must take a stand against our own bad behavior just like our heavenly
Father does when we sin. “And whenever you stand praying, if you
have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven
may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive,
neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”13
Forgiveness is not an emotion, it is a decision we make with our free
will. We lay aside the bitterness and hurt of being sinned against.
Any friend or organization we belong to that does not follow in
the footsteps of Christ we need to separate ourselves from because
until we have grown spiritually strong, we are no help to them. We
risk falling back into our old ways and being trapped forever. Once
we have grown in maturity, we can try to help our old friends, but I
can tell you from my past experience they will be resentful toward
you. They will hate you for where you stand because they will see
how God has blessed you so much more abundantly. The demon
inside them may very well try to attack you or hurt you in some other
way.

God is going to release you from your bindings and a dark shadow
will be lifted out of your mind. Joy and true happiness await those
who continue to strive toward God. Problems will be turned into
blessings, difficulties will be turned into accomplishments, and
roadblocks will be turned into a superhighway for success. If you
believe there is some malediction against you or your family, seek
God to have it removed and believe that it will be because if God is
for us who can possibly be against us?

Whatever your condition, take a stand for Christ not only in word
and deed but in thought. Stand against the devil in the name of Jesus,
never again submitting to Satan’s authority. There is no place for the
familiar spirit to hide so demand that it must go! When we resist its
control, it will leave. Please remember that when you speak in the
name of Jesus you have authority over all demons of any kind or type.
Do not be afraid and remember the Holy Spirit of God is there with
you, ready to enforce your desire for the demon’s removal.

Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth! I have nourished and
brought you up as children, and you have rebelled against Me. We are
so consumed with our activities and are constantly bombarded by
media we do not understand. We are a spiritually blinded and evil
people. We go about corrupting each other and provoking each other
to anger. All have turned their back on God. None, not one, has given
over their life. Our entire head is sick and our heart faints under the
pressure of satanic force that is applied to us with great and constant
pressure. There is no soundness to our thoughts and our soul is
putrefied with wounds and sores.

Our country is desolate, and our cities burn with fire. Strangers
have taken over our cultures and our goods are manufactured by
demons. Our families are besieged with the ungodly who give no ear
to our laws and traditions. To what purpose do we tithe when our
earnings are as an abomination to the Lord. Our hands are full of the
blood of lowly workers who die in poverty for the wealth of our
wellbeing. We spread out our hands upward toward the heavens, yet
God hides His eyes from us. Even though we make many prayers, He
puts His hands over His ears and does not listen. We trouble Him with
our behavior because our souls are full of hatred.

He cries out to us to make ourselves clean and put away the lustful
things of this world. Cease doing evil. Learn to do good. Seek justice,
rebuke the oppressor, and defend the fatherless. Feed the widows and
orphans. Turn away from what you know is wrong and turn to what
you know is right. We don’t have to ask anyone what we should do—
we know. It is in the conscience of every single one of us from birth.
“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though
your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Though they
are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.14 If you are willing to be
obedient you will eat the good of the land. You will walk under the
guidance of your heavenly Father and He will bless you beyond your
imagination.

This is a seemingly absurd contradiction. It is a paradox to the
natural man, something that is impossible for him to understand. We
must surrender to set ourselves free. We must give ourselves away to
gain control through Jesus Christ. We must deny ourselves. Every one
of us must pick up our cross and put to death our self-seeking ego. We
must accept the death sentence that has been handed down to each
and every one of us who chooses of our own free will to follow
Christ.

Our will has forsaken us since birth but has granted us immunity
from our sins because of the influence of the familiar spirits in our
mind. There is a chance we may turn back to our old ways, but it is
very slim. The Bible says that if we are truly saved there is no going
back to the way we were. It is impossible, and if we do, we were
never saved in the first place. You may now need to examine your life
and decide if you will continue forward or start all over again.
Whatever you decide must be done; please do so now because time is
of the essence.

The personal experience of deliverance from the control of evil is
a wonderful demonstration of God’s love and grace. It is His ultimate
goal that all call upon His name and be free from the continuous
onslaught of demonic activity. Once we have been delivered from
Satan’s power, we are given the opportunity to live a holy, blessed
life under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and we will prosper in all
that we do.
