When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. When you believe what God tells you through the written d1word of the Bible. There is a new power inside of you. When God saves one sinner, and we all have sinned. Not one of us is able to save himself. That somehow through your own ability you have accepted God. He immediately places the power of the Holy Spirit within your heart. This new power within every believer will lead us to the pathway of righteous living. It will lead us into a new life.  From that moment on the Holy Spirit leads, assures, indwells, comforts and seals your heart designating you the property of almighty God. He exclaims to all the spirit world that you no longer belong to satan. Did you know that every time someone believes the Word of God, every time someone receives  grace through the saving faith necessary to enter the Kingdom of God, all the angels in heaven stop what they are doing and praise God for 30 minutes. That’s how important your soul is to the One who paid the price for you.

d2  The first place a new believer wants to go after they have been healed is to church. You will not need to be persuaded to join a local church. You will do it joyfully because those who have to be coaxed to go to church are not born into the Kingdom of God.  The first thought of a born again believer will be to unite with the family of God in fellowship, worship and praise.  Unbelievers are spiritually crippled and blinded by the darkness of satan.  When we are unleashed from the chains of death and sin we experience the greatest miracle God ever preformed here on earth. We are set free from the power of the devil. Until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;  that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,  but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head – Christ –   from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.   NKJV

Born again believers are living proof of this miracle of the new birth; We walk by the way of Jesus d3Christ, whereas before we were saved we walked by the way of the world. Now we are new creations. We have a new walk in life. Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4 NKJV   There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1-2 NKJV

Believers walk by faith:  So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord.  For we walk by faith, not by sight.  We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 NKJV

d4  Believers prove they are sons and daughters of God by their good works:  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 NKJV

Believers personal and business dealings are honest and worthy of the Lord: That you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you,  that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing. Thessalonians 4:11-12 Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.  Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no

provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. Romans 13:12-13 NKJV  that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;  strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. Colossians 1:10-12 NKJV

Believers should walk in the light: For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walkd5 as children of light. Ephesians 5:8 NKJV  But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7 NKJV

Believers should walk in wisdom and in truth: But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—  that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:30-31 NKJV Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.  Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one. Colossians 4:5-6 NKJV

Believers should praise God:  Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to

God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. Hebrew 13:15 NKJV Rejoice in

the Lord, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful. Psalms 33:1 NKJV  I will

bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalms 34:1 NKJV

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him,

and bless His name. Psalms 100:4 NKJV  Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our

God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!” And I heard, as it

were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty

thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Revelations 19:5-6 NKJV

Believers are the sons and daughters of God;  They have been received unto adoption. They are joint heirs of all creation with their King and Savior Jesus Christ.  We are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and we should walk this earth as Jesus walked:  Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.  He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.  But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.  He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 1 John 2:3-6 NKJV

d7  Believers should separate themselves from the world; I am not saying to go live on an island by yourself because you can’t escape sin. It is a part of us until we die or until we receive our resurrected bodies. We should separate ourselves from worldly passions. The lust of the flesh. The lust of the eye and the pride of life. Do not separate yourself from those that are in need of your love and understanding: Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.  And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:15-17 NKJV

If you look at new believers in the Bible you will see they all took a hiatus from the world. They spent a couple of years being regenerated by the Holy Spirit so they can familiarize themselves with the ways of God. Paul and Moses spent time in the desert with God so they could prepare them for their ministry. We have the finished works of the Holy Bible. We should spend a couple of years in deep study of the Word of God so the Holy Spirit can direct us to our ministry. There are Christians who try to serve God who have not been prepared by the Holy Spirit, thus they are making decisions by their own ability. They have not spent an appropriate amount of time in Bible study and prayer, so more than likely their ministry will fail. Then there are many Christians who never discover their spiritual gift and ministry. They lose out on the greatest rewards of being a Christian: Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?  And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?  And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

“I will dwell in them

And walk among them.

I will be their God,

And they shall be My people.”

Therefore

“Come out from among them

And be separate, says the Lord.

Do not touch what is unclean,

And I will receive you.”

“I will be a Father to you,

And you shall be My sons and daughters,

Says the Lord Almighty.”  Corinthians 6:14-18 NKJV

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Corinthians 7:1 NKJV

If you do these things the transformation in you will be so marked that everyone will notice.  When a d8sinner becomes a believer everyone who has known him in the past immediately recognizes that person has changed. When I surrendered my life through the victory of the new birth through Jesus Christ I separated myself from all my old friends. I knew I could not have a relationship with them, being controlled by satan, and still have a relationship with Jesus Christ. I was too weak of a Christian to be able to help them . My knowledge of the scriptures was not adequate to quench the fiery darts of the devil. At that time their influence was stronger than my relationship with Christ. I led many of my old friends to a personal relationship through the saving grace of Jesus Christ years later. I had one friend who I hadn’t seen in years exclaim to me, “ I thought you had died!” To which I responded, “I did die, and I have been born again!” Born to the knowledge that I have a Savior who sacrificed greatly to recover what was lost because of our disobedience to God.

d9  “For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”. John 3:16 NKJV. Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap that is between us and God. “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” 1 Tim. 2:5 NKJV. So that through Jesus Christ our sins are forgiven.  All we have to do is accept  Jesus as our Savior.  “For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Eph. 2:8–9 NKJV.  Jesus says, “ Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to Him, and will sup with Him, and He with me.” Rev. 3:20 NKJV. Would you like to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior right now?  “If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made with salvation.” Romans 10:9-10 NKJV. If you will hear His call and obey His word, you can be born again this very moment. He will save you now and make you a member of His family.  Through prayer you can invite Jesus into your life. Start by saying,d10

“Dear Heavenly Father,  I admit that I am a sinner. I believe Your Son Jesus Christ died for my sins and was risen from the grave so that I can have fellowship with You.  Please come into my life and lead me in Your ways.  In Jesus Christ name I pray,  Amen.”
