The very first thing I want to tell you about is your Father. No, I’m not talking about your dad. I am talking about your Heavenly Father Who created you. He created you an individual like no other in this universe and never will be and a person with a will, emotions and character which sets you apart from all others.
Who is God? When we talk about God the character it is staggering to comprehend His vastness. He is a Spirit Being Who is all-knowing. God knows everything that happened in eternity past and everything that will happen in the eternal future. God knows and created all knowledge. There is nothing in our past present or future that God didn’t know before the creation of the universe. He knows every thought you’ve made and are going to make prior to your knowledge of it. He is all-powerful and His power is without measure. The power of all the stars in the universe is but a flickering candle to Almighty God. He is every
where all the time. He resides in the eternal past, present and future. God is infinite and without measure. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. Start at any point in this universe and travel for all eternity, God is there. God is self-existing and has no origin or beginning. He is the “I am that I am.” God is eternally self-sufficient and needs absolutely nothing but Himself to survive. In contrast, He designed us to be totally dependent upon Him for survival. God is perfect in wisdom, knowledge, love and righteousness. He is perfect in all His ways and is incapable of change. God is the supreme ruler and is in control of all things. He alone determines the outcome of every event down to the tiniest detail.
What is the Trinity? “There are three Persons in the Godhead: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory. They are one nature, the same in Their attributes, in Their will and in Their purpose.” Scofield Biblical notes
Thinking is an easy thing to do, but to think rightly is one of the hardest things we will ever achieve. The more knowledge of God we have the greater our understanding of the purpose God intended for us. He did not create us with the intention of failing so He could expel us from His kingdom later. He created us to have an everlasting relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.
We were created to have fellowship with God, to have a personal relationship with Him like you would a parent, a friend or a loved one all wrapped up together. He loves us more than we can possibly comprehend.
In this book we will try to show you how you can communicate with God; how you can relate with Him on an individual basis that will prove you were not left here alone to figure this world out by yourself. He constructed a plan of salvation through faith so you can have a relationship with Him. The basis of this salvation is free by the grace of God and it only requires that you believe to receive it.
What Happened

We were all born with a flaw. A disease that in the end will kill us all. No one on this earth can escape. We inherit it from our parents. It has been past down from generation to generation since the beginning of time. The name of the disease is sin.
We are born with a disease. A disease that in the end will kill us all. No one on this earth can escape. We inherit it from our parents. It has been passed down from generation to generation since the beginning of time. The name of the disease is sin.
God created angels, a spirit race of individuals, who have thought, free will and emotions similar to ours. One day a very high ranking angel who sat by the side of God decided, through his own vanity, that he would ascend to heaven and raise his throne above the stars of God. He would make himself like the most high. He convinced one third of the angels to follow him. He led a great revolt and there was war in heaven. God crushed this revolt and put the followers of Lucifer, “Satan”, in chains in total darkness in a place called Tartarus.
Now we have no way of knowing how long a gap occurred between the fall of Satan and the arrival of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. We do know that Satan played a major role in the fall of mankind. When Eve, then Adam disobeyed God several changes occurred to them. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings. Gen. 3:7 NKJV
The change they received was consciousness. It is a guilt complex that is just as much of mankind as any other part of the body. Our consciousness accuses us of wrongdoing night and day, and we can’t escape it anymore than we can our hand or foot. Adam and Eve realized they were sinners so they tried to conceal their sin with fig leaves. So out of the heart of man comes the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life. Sin comes from within us.
Now it was Satan’s plan to place himself between us and God. Satan was trying to take us away from our Heavenly Father so he could have us all to himself. So he could become god to mankind. It is important for us to realize how Satan works. The Bible says first Eve saw the tree was good for food and it was pleasing to her eye, and then she desired it to make herself wise. Satan has to always work from the outside to get to the inside. God works from the inside out. He regenerates us from the heart through His Word.
Adam and Eve used fig leaves to cover their sin. That is what religion does. It covers sin, but doesn’t remove it. It is still there, just hidden from sight. You can perform all the rituals you like, it still doesn’t solve the problem. It is an interesting thing that Christ Jesus cursed the fig tree because it didn’t bear any fruit. We still see the same thing today; man all dressed up strutting their religion to and fro while the inside is filthy dirty. Mankind is still performing their ceremonies, convinced they are going to get to heaven by their works.
Then Adam, heard a voice in the garden and he was afraid because he was naked, so he hides himself. It was God and He asked, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the forbidden tree I told you not to eat?” And Adam said, “The woman gave me some of the tree and I ate.” Poor Adam was in a fix so he blamed it on the woman. Even if he had confessed his sin, God would not be able to forgive him, because without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.
The Law
The Law is a mirror that reveals man in his sinful condition. Many people look in the mirror and try to convince themselves they are right even though the mirror tells them something different. However, instilled inside each one of us is the knowledge of right from wrong. The mass majority of people today try every way they can to avoid this knowledge. We use drugs, alcohol, food, television and many other things to separate us from our conscience. Sin separates us from God. “Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” Romans 3:19-20 NKJV.
If you ask someone about God the first two words you hear is “I think” or “I believe.” They create a God that suits their lifestyle or a God they form to their own needs. That is not how it works. We are a fallen people. Without God there is no good within us whatsoever. Man paints a rosy picture of himself and the future, but if you’ve been on this earth for very long you know for yourself that man is continuing to become more and more evil. God makes it very clear that He is not saving men through the keeping of a moral code. There is nothing wrong with the moral code, the Law, but there is something radically wrong with us. God’s standard is nothing less than perfection. God is holy, and even one sin is enough to keep us from heaven. The Bible warns “Whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.” James 2:10 NKJV
The Cure
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 NKJV. Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap that is between God and man . “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” 1 Tim. 2:5 NKJV. So that through Jesus Christ our sins are forgiven. All we have to do is accept Jesus as our Savior. “For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Eph. 2:8–9 NKJV. Jesus says, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to Him, and will sup with Him, and He with me.” Rev. 3:20 NKJV. Would you like to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior right now? “If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10 NKJV. If you will hear His call and obey His word, you can be born again this very moment. He will save you now and make you a member of His family. Through prayer you can invite Jesus into your life. Start by saying, “Dear Heavenly Father, I admit that I am a sinner. I believe Your Son Jesus Christ died for my sins and was risen from the grave so that I can have fellowship with You. Please come into my life and lead me in Your ways. In Jesus Christ name I pray, Amen.”
